PL Builders demoed and rebuilt this Corona stair system as a custom structural and finish carpentry project. The project moved from the original stair opening and protection work into new support, stair framing, wood posts, and finished metal railing details.
Project story
The original stairs were demoed and rebuilt
The early photos show the existing stair opening and work area before the rebuild moved forward. A stair project has to be planned around support, access, safety, finish alignment, and how the new railing will look from the main living area.
The rebuild required structural support and finish detail
The progress photos show new stair support work and framing in the open living area. The finished photos show wood posts, stair structure, and metal railing details that changed the look and function of the space.
